Moon Township, Pa. – It has become recent tradition for the Robert Morris University volleyball team to cap its non-conference slate against West Virginia, and this season is no exception, as the Colonials are set to host the Mountaineers on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. in the Charles L. Sewall Center.
 
RMU (9-12, 3-3) is coming off a pair of Northeast Conference (NEC) victories at home. Last weekend, the Colonials topped the Saint Francis Brooklyn Terriers, 3-1, and shut out LIU Brooklyn, 3-0. The wins helped Robert Morris to a .500 record in conference action, with eight NEC matches remaining.

Senior Arden Fisher has posted a double-double in 16 of 20 matches played this season and has recorded double-digit digs in all but two matches on the year. Her streak of 11 matches with a double-double to start a season marks the longest season-opening streak in Robert Morris history dating back to 2003. She leads the Colonials in kills (246) and digs (399).
 
Success Under Starr
Last weekend's win over St. Francis Brooklyn marked head coach Dale Starr's 100th victory as head coach of the Robert Morris volleyball program. He is now three victories shy of his 200^th career win at the Division I level.
