Moon Township, Pa. – The home schedule comes to a close for the
Robert Morris University volleyball team this weekend, when the Colonials host Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 3 p.m. and Northeast Conference (NEC) first-place squad Sacred Heart on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 3 p.m.
Heading into its final stretch of five games, RMU (11-14, 5-4) is still in the hunt for a spot in the NEC Tournament.
Last weekend, the Colonials split a two-match road trip. RMU grinded out a 3-1 win over Central Connecticut State, and just barely dropped a 3-2 decision to the Bryant Bulldogs. Senior
Arden Fisher was named Molten/NEC Defensive Player of the Week, as she averaged 6.22 digs per set last weekend.

Robert Morris versus Final Home Weekend Opponents

The Colonials are 21-8 all-time versus the Pioneers. In their first meeting of the season, the Colonials fell to the Pioneers, 3-0.

RMU qualified for its 17th consecutive NEC Tournament last season, extending the conference's longest active streak. In each of those 17 seasons, the Colonials have posted a winning record in league competition, which stands as the longest such streak of any NEC member, past or present.

Senior Molten/NEC Defensive Player of the Week
Arden Fisher has posted a double-double in 18 of 24 matches played this season, and has recorded double-digit digs in all but two matches on the year. Her streak of 11 matches with a double-double to start a season marks the longest season-opening streak in Robert Morris history dating back to 2003. She leads the Colonials in kills (291) and digs (486). Fisher ranks No. 8 nationally in digs per set (5.28) and is the only top-25 national digs leader that plays at the outside hitter position.

Taylor Lord's career-high 21 kills at Bryant were the most recorded by an individual RMU player in a match this season. She also matched a career-best and season-high four aces at CCSU.

RMU's win over St. Francis Brooklyn on Oct. 8 marked head coach
Dale Starr's 100th victory as head coach of the Robert Morris volleyball program. He is now one victory shy of his 200
th career win at the Division I level.
A Historic Run
