RMU Hosts Saint Francis In Homecoming Contest

The Robert Morris University football team invites Saint Francis University to Joe Walton Stadium for Homecoming this Saturday, Oct. 8, with kickoff slated for 3:00 p.m. The game will be available on ESPN3. The Colonials finished the non-conference slate at 1-4 notching a win over Malone. The Red Flash are 2-3 with losses against top-25 teams Montana and Albany. They are coming off a 52-10 win against Malone.

Weather Delay, Part Deux
> Lightning in the Youngstown area forced RMU into a weather delay for the second consecutive game

> The RMU-Dayton tilt was called with 9:37 left in the fourth quarter due to inclement weather
> It was the first time in team history RMU did not play a full 60-minute game

> Senior Andy Smigiera and 2016 graduate Nick Faraci were both named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academica All-District II honorees in 2015

> Offensive coordinator Mike Miller has spent 12 seasons in the National Football League
