Robert Morris versus RITThe Colonials trail just slightly in the all-time series with the Tigers, 8-9-3. RMU has won or tied four of the last six games between the two programs and swept an earlier series against the CHA opponent this season.
Breaking It DownRobert Morris currently ranks fourth in the CHA standings. They can clinch home ice in the first round of the CHA Tournament with at least two points in this weekend's RIT series or a Lindenwood loss. The Colonials can clinch the three seed if they earn two more points than PSU on the weekend.
Moving On UpWith a goal in last Saturday's 3-2 loss to Syracuse, redshirt sophomore
Brittany Howard improved to fifth all-time in individual career points at RMU (31G-45A-76PTS).
Senior SaluteOn Saturday, the Colonials will honor three seniors: assistant captain
Leah Carlson,
Anissa Gamble and captain
Ashley Vesci. As a trio, the 2016 class has compiled a 64-55-16 record over the last four years entering this weekend's series. They were a part of the first-ever RMU women's hockey team to reach the 20 wins plateau with a program-record 24 victories in 2013-14 and break into the national rankings for the first time in program history that same season.
