Locked In The Groove - Jon Williams has found a comfort zone in the last few weeks, as the freshman guard enters Sunday's game against Drexel having posted averages of 12.0 points and 6.0 assists in his last three games. During that stretch, Williams has knocked down 10 of his 16 attempts from deep, a success rate of 62.5 percent. Williams finished with 10 points and a career-high eight assists in a 78-75 victory over Rider (12/6/17) in RMU's home opener and is tied for seventh in the Northeast Conference in assists per game (4.22) as well as sixth in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.52).

Blast Off - Dachon Burke seems to stepping into his own in his second year with the Colonials, as the sophomore guard has reached double figures in each of his eight games this season and enters Sunday's tilt against Drexel leading RMU and ranking sixth in the Northeast Conference in scoring at 16.4 points per game. Over his last five games, Burke is averaging 18.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.8 steals per contest while shooting 50.7 percent (34-for-67) from the field. Included in that stretch is a pair of 20-point performances, the first two of his career, including a career-high 26 points @ Siena (12/2/17). RMU is 11-8 (579) the last two years when Burke scores in double figures.

Depth Charge - Robert Morris continues to get solid production from its bench. Despite not having a member of the Colonials come off the pine and score in double figures in a 78-75 win over Rider (12/6/17), the RMU reserves supplied 23 points, marking the eighth straight game its bench has scored at least 20 points. Overall this season, three different Colonials have scored in double figures as a reserve, and the bench is averaging 23.0 points per contest.
