-  RMU lost its fourth consecutive game to open its trip to Brooklyn, N.Y., by dropping a 77-65 decision @ St. Francis Brooklyn (2/8/18). Sophomore guard Dachon Burke was the only student-athlete to reach double figures against the Terriers, finishing with a career-high 27 points on 11-of-19 shooting from the field and a 5-for-6 performance at the free-throw line. He also added eight rebounds, a block and two steals.
 
- During their four-game slide, the Colonials are shooting just 36.4 percent (84-for-231) from the field, including 28.6 percent (26-for-91) from beyond the arc, in averaging 59.5 points per game.
 
- Robert Morris enters Saturday's game @ LIU Brooklyn leading the Northeast Conference in steals (7.77 per game) while ranking second in the circuit in three-point field goal percent defense (.324), turnover margin (+2.04) and offensive rebounds (12.65 per contest).

Sophomore guard Dachon Burke finished with 11 points and a career-high 14 rebounds to record his second double-double of the season and third of his career. In his first career start, freshman guard Leondre Washington finished with 11 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals.
 
- The Colonials concluded the month of January with a 5-3 (.625) record after a 77-64 loss to Wagner (1/28/18) at PPG Paints Arena. Robert Morris held a 42-32 edge at halftime but the Seahawks shot 64 percent (16-for-25) from the field in the second half in erasing a double-digit deficit. Freshman guard Leondre Washington paced the Colonials against Wagner with a career-high 20 points off the bench.

St. Francis Brooklyn Tidbits - RMU had a three-game winning streak against the Terriers snapped with the loss but owns a 46-30 (.605) edge in the all-time series ... St. Francis Brooklyn established season highs by an opponent for three-point field goals (15) and three-point field goal attempts (33) ... The Terriers shot 58.8 percent (10-for-17) from deep in the first half ... Robert Morris shot 37.3 percent (22-for-59) from the field ... Outside of sophomore guard Dachon Burke, who converted 11 of his 19 shots from the floor, the other seven student-athletes in the rotation shot 11-for-40 (27.5%) ... St. Francis Brooklyn held a 39-38 edge on the glass, with the Colonials posting a 14-12 advantage in offensive rebounds ... In his first career start, freshman forward Charles Bain scored seven points and tied a career high with seven rebounds.
 
The Stretch Run - Sophomore guard Dachon Burke set a career high with 27 points to lead Robert Morris @ St. Francis Brooklyn (2/8/18) while also notching eight rebounds, a block and a pair of steals. Burke shot 11-for-19 from the field and went 5-for-6 at the free-throw line. During the month of February, Burke is averaging a double-double, leading the Colonials in both scoring (19.0 ppg) and rebounding (10.0 rpg). He is shooting an even 50 percent (23-for-46) from the field during that stretch. The rest of the student-athletes during that stretch, however, are shooting just 31.3 percent (40-for-128) from the field.
 
Road Warrior - In 14 road games this season, sophomore guard Dachon Burke is averaging 17.5 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game while shooting 43.8 percent (91-for-208) from the field. He has reached double figures in each contest and has also eclipsed the 20-point plateau four times during that span.
 
Did You Know? RMU started the season 7-0 when at least two freshmen scored in double figures in a game but have since dropped three consecutive games when turning the trick.
 
Coal Beans - Chris Coalmon established a career high for minutes @ St. Francis Brooklyn (2/8/18), as the freshman forward played 27 minutes off the bench. The extended run helped him tie a career high with nine points while also grabbing three rebounds and blocking a pair of shots. Coalmon finished 3-for-6 from the field against the Terriers, including 1-for-2 from beyond the arc, while knocking down his two attempts at the free-throw line. The production was welcome, as in his previous six contests, Coalmon had scored a total of seven points. Coalmon is 4-for-4 at the stripe in his last two games, a stark difference from the first 24 games of the year, when he had just seven attempts at the chalk, converting three.
