Moon Township, Pa. - Robert Morris University women's lacrosse wraps up non-conference play with a road game at Ohio State University. The Colonials are seeking the program's first win over the Buckeyes in what will be the fifth meeting between the teams. RMU is coming off its first win over an ACC team, taking a 13-12 win over Louisville last Saturday.

NORTHEAST FEAST
The Colonials claimed a pair of Northeast Conference weekly honors as
Katelyn Miller took home defensive player of the week while
Dana Davis was awarded co-player of the week. Davis earns NEC co-player of the week for her efforts, after scoring four goals and adding an assist to help the Colonials to victory. Davis also won three draw controls, collected two ground balls and caused two turnovers in the game.Â
Miller was named the NEC defensive player of the week, shattering the decade-old RMU single-game saves record by making 18 saves, including one in the final seconds to seal the victory. The sophomore from Bel Air, Md. recorded a .600 save percentage in the win. Miller's 9.94 goals against average this season ranked third best in the NEC and 22nd in the NCAA.Â

Dana Davis is the definition of an all-around midfielder, bringing a balanced and determined style to the field. An all-NEC first team honoree last season, Davis has earned league honors in each of her three seasons, an all-Rookie team member as a freshman and a second-team sophomore. Davis is among the NCAA's active career leaders in Ground Balls (29th, 168). Davis is four ground balls shy of surpassing RMU's all-time record of 171 (Colleen O'Donnell '12). The senior from Garnet Valley, Pa. leads the team in goal-scoring with 12 goals and draw controls with 25.

Katelyn Miller returns in goal for RMU after a successful frosh campaign. Miller posted an 11-6-0 record a season ago and is 4-5 through nine games in 2018. Miller looks solid as ever, posting a career-high and RMU single-game record 18 saves vs. Louisville. Miller's 9.94 goals against average this season ranked third best in the NEC and 22nd in the NCAA.

DANGEROUS DEFENSE
Robert Morris had the top defense in the NEC and one of the NCAA's best in 2017, leading the conference in ground balls and caused turnovers, as well as being the nation's No. 2 team in caused turnovers and 4th in ground balls. The theme has held strong in the 2018. RMU is currently ranked 4th in the NCAA in ground balls per game (24.00, 2nd in NEC), 16th in the NCAA in caused turnovers per game (10.89, 3rd in NEC), and scoring defense is 21st (9.89, 3rd in NEC).

Kelly Colegrove has guarded the Colonials net-front with authority, leading the team with 18 caused turnovers, ranked second in the Northeast Conference and 21st in the NCAA, averaging 2.11 caused turnovers per game this season. Colegrove recorded a career-high five caused turnovers in against George Washington earlier this year.

The Colonials welcome seven freshman to the program in 2018, including five from the state of Maryland, with one from Pennsylvania and one from Texas. Six of the seven have seen game action so far this season.

The Colonials have posted five consecutive winning seasons, with the last four resulting in trips to the Northeast Conference postseason tournament. Robert Morris holds a 49-36 record over the last five years. RMU went 11-7 overall last season and 5-2 in NEC play.
