All-Time Series vs. Penn
The Colonials hold a 1-3 record all-time against head coach Craig Coleman's alma mater. The team's have not played since 2011, a 14-8 win in favor of the Quakers. All four meetings have taken place at a neutral site with the lone RMU win a 4-1 victory in 2008.
 
All-Time Series vs. Iona
Friday's game marks the first meeting between these two schools on the softball diamond.
 
All-Time Series vs. Northern Kentucky
A 3-2 win by Robert Morris last season marked the only meeting between the Norse and the Colonials.
 
All-Time Series vs. Maine
It's been three years since these teams last played with the Black Bears holding a 6-3 advantage in the series. Maine won the first four games but RMU has won two of the last three games. Robert Morris last won in the series, 9-1, in 2009.
 
All-Time Series vs. Delaware State
This is the first game between these squads.
 
All-Time Series vs. Saint Joseph's
These Keystone State schools have played just twice before with each team taking a victory. RMU won the first meeting, 8-3, in 2011 while the Hawks won the last time they played, 6-2, in 2016.
