The Steel City native carries a perfect 4.00 grade point average while majoring in biology at Robert Morris. She, along with her teammates, helped the Colonials capture their second consecutive Northeast Conference (NEC) Team GPA Award in 2018-19, as the group's 3.846 mark topped all other varsity teams in the league.

Brown is enjoying a stellar junior campaign, quarterbacking an explosive RMU attack to a 24-3 record and the NEC regular-season championship. The Avonworth High School alumna leads the NEC in assists per set (10.10) and averages 2.33 digs and 0.67 blocks per frame. She won a pair of Molten/NEC Player of the Week awards this season on Sept. 3 and Oct. 7, and has recorded a team-best 10 double-doubles.

In the career ranks, Brown has climbed to eighth place on the assists leaderboard with 1,802 to her name. She is 172 helpers shy of 1,000 for the season, and has reached career bests in that category as well as digs (191) and blocks (55).

Brown joined Megan Bell (2005), Darcey Miller (2004), and the aforementioned former student-athletes as CoSIDA Academic All-District selections last season. She now advances to the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration.
