MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
Senior guard
Josh Williams hit a three-pointer at the 19:02 mark of the second half to give RMU a 41-33 advantage, but the Mount (7-19 / 4-9 NEC) used a 10-2 run to tie the game for the first time, 43-43. The Mount was able to tie it thanks to a four-point play from Dee Barnes, who was fouled on a three-point attempt by Williams but connected.
FRESHMAN STEPPED UP
Mount freshman guard Vado Morse scored 16 of his game-high 21 points in the second half and shot 5-for-8 from the field, including 1-for-3 from beyond the arc, while going 10-for-12 at the free-throw line. Off the bench, Dee Barnes, also a rookie, finished with 12 points for Mount St. Mary's, scoring seven in the second half.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
Williams gave Robert Morris its final lead, 51-50, with 10:23 left after connecting from beyond the arc, but Mount St. Mary's used an 8-0 run to take control. Omar Habwe answered the triple by Williams with one of his own and was also fouled on the play by sophomore forward
Charles Bain. Habwe completed the four-point play, and back-to-back turnovers by sophomore guard
Jon Williams and Bain led to baskets and the Mount built its lead to 60-51 with 9:05 remaining.

Mount St. Mary's scored 45 points in the second half, just a point less than Central Connecticut State scored after halftime in RMU's last game, a 77-68 loss to the Blue Devils.
