Moon Township, Pa. – A total of 29 student-athletes from the
Robert Morris University rowing team were named to the 2019 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Academic Honor Roll.
To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must hold a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher on a 4.00 scale, and freshmen are eligible. A total 2,478 student-athletes were honored by the MAAC, a new record. The 2019 MAAC Honor Roll covers 23 sports and includes both full-time and associate members.
The Colonials are an associate member of the conference in rowing and tied for third among associates with Bryant. Sacred Heart (44) and Detroit Mercy (31) were the top two programs among associate members.
A pair of rookies for Robert Morris each posted a perfect 4.00 GPA in their first year with the program.
Jayme Sanner, a statistics and predictive analysis major, and
Mary Woods, who studies engineering, each finished perfect.

Sophomores
Madelyn Green and
Mia Krolczyk have compiled a 3.98 cumulative GPA, while sitting at 3.97 are sophomores
Nicole Kristof and
Molly McGuire. Green is a nursing major, while Krolczyk is an engineering major. Kristof owns a double major of marketing and sports management, while McGuire studies biology.
A total of 15 student-athletes for the RMU rowing team have posted have posted a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher. Included in that group is
Kestra Harris, who will enter her senior year in 2019-20 with a 3.83 GPA as a media arts major.
Brittany Bell, who will also be a senior in the fall, has posted a 3.80 GPA as an actuarial science major.
