- The Robert Morris University men's basketball team, winners of a season-high five straight games as well as six of its last seven, concludes a three-game road trip Thursday with a 7:00 p.m. tip in Emmitsburg, Md., against Mount St. Mary's at Knott Arena.
 
- RMU won its fifth consecutive contest by improving to 2-0 on its current three-game road swing with a 61-58 victory @ Sacred Heart (2/8/20). Junior forward Charles Bain paced the Colonials with a season-high 16 points and also added four rebounds and a steal in the win.
 
- Junior forward AJ Bramah contributed 14 points and four rebounds off the bench in the win over the Pioneers and has now scored in double figures in 20 consecutive games. Senior forward Yannis Mendy added 12 points in the win over Sacred Heart by converting six of his seven shots from the floor.
 
- During its five-game winning streak, Robert Morris is allowing an average of 59.4 points per game. Opponents are shooting 39.8 percent (104-for-261) from the field, including 33.3 percent (35-for-105) from beyond the arc. RMU has also received a balanced offense, as four different Colonials have led the team in scoring during that stretch.
 
- Junior forward AJ Bramah is averaging 13.6 points and 9.6 rebounds during RMU's five-game surge while shooting 49.1 percent (26-for-53) from the field. Against Northeast Conference foes, Bramah has produced averages of 15.3 points and 9.5 caroms per contest while shooting 64.2 percent (70-for-109).
 
- Robert Morris enters Thursday's game @ Mount St. Mary's leading the Northeast Conference in assists (16.44 per game) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.25). The Colonials, who rank 13th in NCAA Division I in assists, have only lead the conference in dimes on two occasions, the last of which came in 2007-08 when RMU averaged a school record 17.56 assists per contest.
 
- During RMU's five-game winning streak, sophomore guard Dante Treacy has averaged 4.8 assists per game while owning an assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.00. During that same span, junior guard Jon Williams is averaging 4.6 helpers per contest while owning an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.30.  
 
- Against NEC foes, the Colonials pace the league in scoring margin (+8.1), assists (17.17 per game) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.36) while ranking second in the conference in scoring defense (61.1 ppg), field goal percent defense (.416), three-point field goal percent defense (.303) and turnover margin (+2.83).
 
- Robert Morris returns to Peoples Court at the UPMC Events Center Saturday, Feb. 15, after concluding their three-game road trip Thursday at Mount St. Mary's. The Colonials host Fairleigh Dickinson with a 1:00 p.m. tip.

Robert Morris garnered a sweep of the 2019-20 season series thanks to the win over the Pioneers and improved to 27-11 (.711) all-time against SHU ... The Colonials owned a 26-14 advantage in points in the paint as forwards Yannis Mendy, Charles Bain and AJ Bramah combined for 42 points while shooting 54.5 percent (18-for-33) from the floor ... RMU's starting trio of guards in Josh Williams, Jon Williams and Dante Treacy combined for 15 assists in the victory ... Senior Yannis Mendy has been a consistent presence for the Colonials against Northeast Conference foes, and he's looking to finish RMU's current three-game road trip strong. Over the last three games, Mendy has provided the Colonials with averages of 10.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 57.1 percent (12-for-21) from the field. Twice during that span he's reached double figures, including 12 points on 6-for-7 shooting in a 61-58 victory @ Sacred Heart (2/8/20). Over the last two seasons against NEC foes when Mendy scores in double figures, Robert Morris has posted a record of 10-1 (.909), including a perfect 5-0 mark this season. Overall the last two years, the Colonials are 12-3 (.800) when Mendy scores at least 10 points in a game.

Junior forward AJ Bramah scored in double figures for the 20th consecutive game in a 61-58 triumph @ Sacred Heart (2/8/20) that continued a three-game road trip for RMU. Against the Pioneers, Bramah finished with 14 points and four rebounds and in the process became just the fifth student-athlete in program history to reach double figures in 20 straight games. Over the last 20 games, Bramah is averaging 14.0 points and 9.0 rebounds while converting 59.2 percent (106-for-179) of his shots from the field. Brotherly Love -
In two years that redshirt senior guard Josh Williams and junior guard Jon Williams have been on RMU's active roster, the pair have each started the 60 games the Colonials have played. In that stretch, the brothers have combined for 277 three-pointers, an average of 4.62 per contest, while shooting 40.3 percent (277-for-688) from beyond the arc. Josh Williams ranks 11th all-time in program history with 182 career three-pointers, while Jon Williams ranks 13th with 150.
 
A New Record -
Junior guard Jon Williams established a new Robert Morris record for consecutive starts by being a member of the starting lineup in a 64-57 victory over Central Connecticut (2/1/20) at the UPMC Events Center. Williams broke the mark of 90 held by former guard Tony Lee (2005-08) and former forward A.J. Jackson (2003-08) and has started each of the 93 games he has appeared in. Across NCAA Division I, the 93 consecutive starts ranks third in the junior class, trailing Matt Coleman III (95) from Texas and Taveion Hollingsworth of Western Kentucky (96). Williams is tied for 10th all-time at Robert Morris for career starts with former guard Kavon Stewart (2013-17).
 
Defensively Speaking -
Robert Morris closed improved to 2-0 on a three-game road trip by posting a 61-58 victory @ Sacred Heart (2/8/20). Thanks to the win, the Colonials improved to 72-8 (.900) in 10 seasons under RMU Pat Gallagher Head Coach Andrew Toole when holding opponents to under 60 points. Included in that mark is a record of 7-1 (.875) in 2019-20.
