- The Robert Morris University men's basketball team opens a three-game road trip in search of its fourth consecutive win Thursday with a 7:00 p.m. tip against Wagner at the Spiro Sports Center on Staten Island, N.Y.
 
- The Colonials opened their February slate by stretching their winning streak to three by concluding a two-game homestand at the UPMC Events Center with a 64-57 victory over Central Connecticut (2/1/20).
 
- Senior forward Yannis Mendy and junior forward AJ Bramah combined for 22 points and 22 rebounds in the win over the Blue Devils to pace RMU. Bramah recorded his third consecutive double-double against CCSU with 11 points and 14 boards, while Mendy finished with 11 points and eight caroms.

- Robert Morris enters Thursday's tilt leading the Northeast Conference in three-point field goal percent defense (.299), assists (16.48 per game) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.24) while ranking second in the circuit in three-point field goal percentage (.358) and rebounding defense (34.6).
 
- Against NEC foes, the Colonials rank first or second in a total of nine categories. RMU paces the league in scoring margin (+8.9), field goal percent defense (.408), three-point field goal percent defense (.279), assists (17.40 per game), assist-to-turnover ratio (1.36) and defensive rebounds (26.60 per contest) while ranking second in the circuit in scoring defense (61.3), three-point field goal percentage (.364) and turnover margin (+1.50).
 
- Junior forward AJ Bramah is averaging a double-double against NEC foes, leading the Colonials with 15.8 points and 10.7 rebounds per contest. He leads the league against conference foes in field goal percentage (.706) and defensive rebounds (7.90 per game) while ranking second in rebounding and sixth in scoring.
 
- In NEC road games, sophomore guard Dante Treacy is averaging 12.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game while converting 52.8 percent (19-for-36) of his shots from the field, including 50 percent (5-for-10) from beyond the arc. He's scored in double figures in each of RMU's first four road league contests.
 
- Robert Morris concludes the 2019-20 regular season with five of its final eight games on the road. The Colonials will also visit Sacred Heart (2/8/20) and Mount St. Mary's (2/13/20) on its three-game road swing.

Robert Morris swept the season series from CCSU and snapped a two-game losing streak to the Blue Devils at home ... Overall the Colonials own a 27-18 (.600) lead in the all-time series ... Central Connecticut outscored RMU, 39-29, in bench points, as the Blue Devils received 68.4 percent of their offensive production from reserves ... Freshman guard Jamir Reed scored a game-high 19 points for CCSU and also grabbed nine rebounds ... The Colonials held a 40-30 advantage on the glass, including a 13-7 cushion in offensive caroms ... RMU shot 57.1 percent (12-for-21) from the field in the second half, including 46.2 percent (6-for-13) from beyond the arc.
 
A New Record -
Junior guard Jon Williams established a new Robert Morris record for consecutive starts with his 91st in a 64-57 victory over Central Connecticut (2/1/20) at the UPMC Events Center. Williams broke the mark of 90 held by former guard Tony Lee (2005-08) and former forward A.J. Jackson (2003-08). Across NCAA Division I, the 91 consecutive starts ranks third in the junior class, trailing Matt Coleman III (93) from Texas and Taveion Hollingsworth of Western Kentucky (94). Williams is two starts shy of cracking the top 10 all-time at Robert Morris for career starts, as former guard Kavon Stewart (2013-17) ranks 10th with 93.
 
Three's Company -
Robert Morris enters Thursday's game @ Wagner with three of the top five shooters in the Northeast Conference in regard to three-point shooting. Redshirt senior guard Josh Williams leads the league at 42.1 percent (75-for-178), while his brother, junior guard Jon Williams, ranks third at 41.5 percent (39-for-94). Sophomore guard Dante Treacy is tied for fifth in the NEC, having knocked down 39.7 percent (25-for-63) of his shots from downtown. Combined, the trio are averaging 6.04 three-pointers made per game on the 2019-20 campaign.
 
Rolling -
Junior forward AJ Bramah scored in double figures for the 18th consecutive game in a 64-57 win over Central Connecticut (1/2/20) by registering his third consecutive double-double and eighth of the 2019-20 campaign. Against the Blue Devils, Bramah finished with 11 points and 14 rebounds.  Over the last 18 games, Bramah is averaging 14.2 points and 9.6 rebounds while converting 61.9 percent (96-for-155) of his shots from the field. Bramah's 18 consecutive double-figure scoring games ranks sixth in program history, and he is two shy of becoming just the fifth student-athlete in program history to reach double figures in 20 straight games.
 
Defense Wins Championships -
The numbers bear out that following in the footsteps of defending is victories. Thanks to a 64-57 win over Central Connecticut (2/1/20) that concluded a two-game homestand at the UPMC Events Center, Robert Morris improved to 193-54 (.781) when holding opponents under 70 points since the beginning of the 2007-08 season. Under 10th-year RMU Pat Gallagher Head Coach Andrew Toole, the Colonials owns a mark of 142-47 (.751) when turning the trick. Overall the last 13 years, Robert Morris has held its opponent to under 70 points 56.8 percent (247-of-435) of the time.
