Moon Township, Pa. – Kicker
Nick Bisceglia of the RMU football team earned the first weekly honor of the 2021 season for the Colonials Monday, as he was named the Big South Special Teams Player of the Week. The 38-yard game winner was the third field goal of the contest for Bisceglia, who also connected from 27 and 43 yards in the second quarter. It marked the second consecutive home game that Bisceglia nailed a trio of trifectas, with the 43-yard conversion a career long. Bisceglia also hit three field goals for RMU in a 31-24 triumph over Charleston Southern (10/9), including a 42-yarder that had stood as his previous career best.
The performance against the Pirates marked the third career game-winning field goal for Bisceglia. In a
13-10 win over Dayton (9/2/17) in his NCAA Division I collegiate debut, Bisceglia nailed a 26-yard field goal with four seconds remaining that helped the Colonials earn the win over the Flyers. He also converted a 38-yard field goal in the second overtime of a
