Moon Township, Pa. – The RMU men's and women's cross country teams concluded the 2021 season Friday in Bethlehem, Pa., by taking part in the NCAA Division I Mid-Atlantic Region Cross Country Championships on the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course at Lehigh University. The men finished 26th, while the women did not place.

Grace Mason concluded a strong rookie campaign Friday, posting a time of 23:21.3 in the six-kilometer course. For the RMU men, which competed in a 10-kilometer race, fellow rookie
Gavin Fitzgerald also finished the 2021 season strong, clocking in with a time of 34:06.5.
TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
Princeton claimed the men's title with a team score of 40, outlasting Georgetown (49), Villanova (57), Penn State (130) and Pittsburgh (159). On the women's side, Georgetown finished first with 43 points, with West Virginia (67), Villanova (157), Princeton (122) and Penn State (159) rounding out the top five.
