The All-Time Series (Saint Francis U) – The longest running rivalry in program history, SFU and RMU tip for the 90th time in the all-time series Wednesday, with the Colonials owning a 51-38 (.573) advantage. The last meeting between the two programs came in the championship game of the 2020 Northeast Conference (NEC) Tournament, with the Colonials posting a 77-67 victory over the Red Flash at the UPMC Events Center (3/10/20). RMU earned its ninth NEC Tournament crown and subsequent bid to the NCAA Tournament thanks to the triumph.

Bowling Green Notes – The Falcons improved to 2-1 (.667) all-time against RMU with the victory in sweeping the home-and-home series ... Bowling Green shot 51.3 percent (39-for-76) from the field and had five Falcons score in double figures ... BGSU owned a 39-30 edge on the glass, including a 14-4 cushion in offensive rebounds ... RMU suffered a season-high 20 turnovers, with Bowling Green owning a 24-10 advantage in points off turnovers ... The Falcons owned a 42-34 edge in points in the paint while outscoring the Colonials, 14-6, in second-chance points.

Finding A Zone – RMU has found a groove offensively as it heads to SFU for its final non-conference tilt of the 2021-22 season. Over the last four games, the Colonials are converting 52.2 percent (119-for-228) of their shots from the field, including 44.4 percent (36-for-81) from beyond the arc. A total of five Colonials are averaging in double figures during that span, led by sophomore guard
Kam Farris, who has scored at a 14.3 points per game clip while knocking down 62.5 percent (20-for-32) of his shots from the field, including 57.7 percent (15-for-26) from deep. Senior forward

Kam Farris helped the Colonials garner their first win of the 2021-22 season with a 99-51 victory over Lancaster Bible (12/8/21) by pacing RMU with a career-high 27 points. Farris shot 10-for-13 from the floor, including 7-for-10 from beyond the arc. Thanks to the performance against the Chargers, Farris pushed his career total in triples to 50. He enters Wednesday's game @ Saint Francis U with 54 three-pointers in 23 career games at RMU, an average of 2.35 per game, while converting at a 50 percent (54-for-108) clip from deep. The only member of the Colonials to reach 50 three-pointers faster was former guard
Josh Williams (2018-20), who reached the plateau in just 13 contests. Meanwhile, former guard Karvel Anderson (2012-14) also reached 50 trifectas in 21 games.

Kahliel Spear paced the Colonials against Florida Gulf Coast (12/11/21) by recording his second consecutive double-double, third of the 2021-22 campaign and fourth overall in two seasons at RMU by notching 20 points and 11 rebounds. RMU's active leader for consecutive games played (28) and starting assignments (14), Spear enters Wednesday's game @ Saint Francis U tied for fifth in the Horizon League in blocks (12) with Donovan Ivory of Green Bay.

Defense Wins Championships – The numbers bear out that following in the footsteps of defending is victories. Over the last 15 years, RMU owns a record of 203-57 (.781) when holding opponents under 70 points since the beginning of the 2007-08 season. Under 12th-year RMU Pat Gallagher Head Coach
