The All-Time Series (Charleston Southern) – The Colonials and Buccaneers meet for the first time on the gridiron Saturday. Charleston Southern is the second consecutive opponent RMU is squaring off against this spring that it is facing for the first time in school history. Saturday's game also marks the first for the Colonials in the state of South Carolina during its 27 years as an NCAA Division I program.
Â
Consistency – Linebacker
Aniello Buzzacco has picked up right where he left off from the 2019 campaign in the first two games of RMU's 2021 spring campaign. Through two games, Buzzacco has racked up 25 tackles, including 17 solo stops. He is currently tied with linebacker Justin McIntire of Charleston Southern for the top of the Big South in tackles per game, as each are averaging 12.5 stops per contest. Buzzacco enters Saturday's game against the Buccaneers having reached double figures in tackles in five consecutive games dating back to 2019 as well as nine times in the last 11 games.
Â

Aniello Buzzacco became just the third student-athlete in program history to reach the 15-tackle plateau on three occasions. Buzzacco's career high for stops is 18, which came in a 24-20 win over Bryant (10/26) at Joe Walton Stadium. He also finished with 17 takedowns in a 20-17 overtime triumph @ Saint Francis (10/12). Â
Moving On Up – Senior kicker

Bisceglia, who has scored 151 career points, has converted each of his last 37 point after attempts (PAT) dating back to the 2018 season and overall on his career is 78-for-80 (97.5%) in PATs. He ranks third among kickers in program history in scoring, trailing only Jeff Carlo (1998-2001) and Nathan DiLorenzo (2003-06). Carlo owns the school record for points (250), while DiLorenzo ranks fourth (180).
Â
