Moon Township, Pa. Ryan Smith, a graduate attack on the Robert Morris University men's lacrosse team, has been named to the Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-America team, garnering honorable mention plaudits from the publication as it released its full list Thursday evening.

Smith is one of seven attackmen to collect honorable mention recognition, joining Rutgers' Adam Charalambides, Virginia's Matt Moore, Denver's Jackson Morrill, High Point's Asher Nolting, Duke's Joe Robertson, and Delaware's Michael Robinson.

The Burlington, Ontario native currently shares the Division I lead in total goals (33) and ranks third in total points (49), also slotting seventh in goals (3.67) and 11th in points (5.44) on a per-game scale. Smith has recorded a hat trick in eight of his nine games this season, and is coming off a season-high six goals last Saturday in the Crown Lacrosse Classic against Jacksonville. He owns the 10th longest active goal scoring streak at 17 games, netting 61 of his 127 career tallies over that span.

Smith's next point will be the 196th of his career, which will make him the program's sole leader in that category. He matched Trevor Moore (195; 2008-11) with seven points last Saturday, and needs eight more goals to surpass Moore for the record in that category. With two more appearances, Smith will also be the program record holder in games played, and he sits fourth all-time in career assists (68) and games started (55).

This is just the latest national honor added to an ever-growing list for Smith. On March 4, he was tabbed as one of 20 nominees for the Senior CLASS Award, and five days later collected United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division I Team of the Week accolades after breaking his own single-game record for points with 11 versus Bellarmine. Two days after that, Smith was named alongside 55 other student-athletes to the Tewaaraton Men's Watch List.

RMU returns to Joe Walton Stadium on Saturday, April 10 at 1:00 p.m. for its home finale against Cleveland State.
