Three Colonials Selected In NWHL Draft

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Three members of the Robert Morris University women's hockey team joined the professional ranks Tuesday with their selection in the 2021 National Women's Hockey League Draft.

Defender Emilie Harley was selected second overall by the Buffalo Beauts, joining former teammate and forward Anjelica Diffendal who was also selected by Buffalo in the second round.

Forward Leah Marino was selected by the Toronto Six in the third round, the second Colonial to be selected by the franchise following Natalie Marcuzzi's selection in 2020.

The Colonials finished the 2021 season at 16-8-1 overall and captured their third postseason title in March with a victory over Syracuse in the CHA Championship game.
