Can You Dig It?
- RMU Volleyball begins their three-match home stand Friday, Nov. 4 vs. the Youngstown State Penguins (13-13 / 7-8 #HLVB).Â
- The Colonials will look to earn their third Horizon League victory this season. They won their first against Purdue Fort Wayne (9/30) and second at IUPUI (10/28).
- Danny Doherty is in his first full season leading the Colonials after being named head coach on Dec. 31, 2021. He served as interim head coach for the final four matches of the 2021 campaign.
- Under Doherty, the team has proven to win games when going to five sets. In five games this season going to five sets, the Colonials are 4-1 while outscoring opponents 69-54.
- Upon completion of the YSU game, the Colonials will finish up the regular season next weekend at home vs. Wright State (11/11) and Northern Kentucky (11/12).

Allena Carmody has provided 65 digs and four service aces in five career games in this series.
Annie Monaco has performed very well defensively against YSU, collecting 44 total digs, six service aces and 21 kills in four games. On (3/8/21) she earned her career high in digs with 16. In the last match (10/7/22) she earned a double-double. Setter
Ashleigh Wallin set up 62 assists and three service aces in her two matches against the Penguins. And, setter
Kaitlyn Brown last match in October, scored a single game high in kills and digs with nine and 15.

Milestone Watch – This weekend,
Annie Monaco could reach a few milestones. The junior has 381 kills and 379 career digs. Just in this season she has 185 kills and 181 digs. Junior
Abby Ryan is closing in on 300 kills this season as she's eight away, and also four away from 200 digs. Student-Athlete of the month,
Emma Brown currently sits with 109 kills. She produced 120 last season.

Upon The Horizon – All season,
Allena Carmody has stayed in the top 10 in digs per set. She's sixth in the Horizon League conference averaging 3.96. Her 30 digs vs. IUPUI (10/1/22) are the sixth highest digs in a match in conference play this season.
Abby Ryan is now seventh in kills per set (3.21). The outside hitters 21 kills this past weekend vs. Fort Wayne (10/29/22) are the third-most in a four-set match.
Ally Christman owns the third-most kills in a three-set match as she spiked down 19 vs. N.C. Central (9/16/22). Setters
Kaitlyn Brown and
Ashleigh Wallin rank in the top 10 in assists per set. Brown is fifth (5.50) and Wallin is 10
th (5.17).

Three of a Kind Aces – RMU volleyball overall ranks fourth in service aces in the Horizon League this season. The Colonials have three players ranked in the top 10 in service aces per set: 7
th – Christman (.38), 8
th – Wallin (.35), 9
th – Monaco (.33). Monaco's six aces vs. Oakland (9/20/22) is the most aces scored in a four-set match in the Horizon League. Christman's five aces vs. Milwaukee (10/21/22) is the second most produced in a three-set match.
