Box Score Newark, DE. - A magical season for the Robert Morris University men's lacrosse team came to a close after a 20-8 loss to the University of Delaware on Wednesday evening. The Colonials ended the 2022 season with a 10-6 record, an ASUN record of 4-1, an ASUN title, and the program's first NCAA appearance since 2019.

MOMENTS THAT MATTER
The Blue Hens held the momentum from the start of the game, going on a 6-1 run to kick off the first quarter of play.

The second quarter was followed by a 4-1 run by the Blue Hens, followed by a 5-2 run in the third. However, penalties, tallying 11 total, took their toll on RMU.

The Colonial showed their best play in the fourth, with a four-goal run from the Colonials. Graduate Corson Kealey completed his hat trick and added an additional tally to earn a total of five points in his final game as a Colonial.

A SEASON IN REVIEW
Despite the ending, this season was nothing to scoff at. The Colonials won the first ASUN Men's Lacrosse title that the conference has sponsored since 2014. None the less, they did so under a first-year coaching staff that started only this past fall.

Corson Kealey ended his RMU career in third-place in the RMU record book for goals. RMU earned several post-season accolades from the ASUN, as well as all-tournament team honors.
