MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The
Robert Morris women's lacrosse team fell 20-10 to Central Michigan University in the 2022 MAC Championship game on Saturday afternoon. RMU finished the 2022 season with a 9-9 record and as the shared MAC regular season champion.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
RMU had an answer for every CMU goal throughout the first quarter of play. When the Chippewas closed out the first quarter with a goal at the 1:28 mark to make it a 3-2 game.
At the start of the second,
Mackenzie Bell kicked off a 5-2 run in favor of the Colonials. However, the Chips started their own 11-1 run, followed by a 4-2 run to seal their fate as the 2022 MAC Champions.

Colleen Tifft,
Chelsea Coleman, and
Kelsey Nelson each had two goals in today's loss.
Mackenzie Bell,
Jerica Obee,
Bailey Christianson, and
Lilli Hadden each tallied one for the Colonials, as well.
CONSISTENCY
Colleen Tifft and
Jerica Obee extended their goal streaks in the loss. Tifft and Obee both finished the day with two goals. Tifft owns the high-water mark at 14 games while Obee hit 13 to close out the season.

RMU will finish the 2022 season with a 9-9 overall record, as well as a 8-2 MAC conference play.
