Opening Kick-Off
- The Robert Morris University men's soccer program will finish up their three-game road trip at Wake Forest tomorrow night, on Tuesday, October 17 at 7:00 p.m.
- Last time out, RMU tied Green Bay up north in Wisconsin, 1-1. Forward John Paul Mbuthia scored just a minute into the game.
- Recently, the Colonials earned another tie in conference play, tying Wright State on the road, 1-1.
- Kosi Udeh scored in the first half of that game, recording his second goal of the season. Darren Gray added the assist on the goal.
- Goalkeeper Kieran Gorgenyi made eight saves in the game.
- Tuesday night's game will be RMU's last non-conference game of the season. It'll also be their first game of the year, against a nationally ranked opponent.

The All-Time Series (Wake Forest) – The Colonials have only played one game against the Demon Deacons, happening 30 years ago. RMU was victorious in the match-up, winning 1-0 at Wake Forest on October 31 of 1993. Against current members of the ACC, RMU has picked up nine wins all-time, dating back to 1991.

Scouting the Deacs – Overall, Wake Forest is 10-1-3 on the year and 4-1-1 in conference play. In the Atlantic Division of the ACC, the Deacs are at the top with two conference matches remaining. Wake Forest is tied 11
th nationally in goals against per game at 0.64. They finished with five clean sheets in the program's last six appearances. Offensively, forward Roald Mitchell has produced a team-high 18 points for Wake Forest, scoring eight goals and adding two assists. Midfielder Jahlane Forbes has dished out a team-high five helpers. Goalkeeper Trace Alphin has played in all 14 games, winning 10 and making 26 saves. Wake Forest is currently on a seven-game win streak entering tomorrow's match.

Previously, in RMU's latest match at Green Bay,
John Paul Mbuthia rocketed in the team's quickest goal of the season. He scored just 62 seconds into the match.
William Dodzi Afawubo crossed in a ball into the box from midfield off a free-kick. After the Phoenix failed to clear the pressure out, Mbuthia picked up the ball at the edge of the box and slotted a nice shot into the net. Mbuthia's goal is the second fastest goal to start a game in program history. The quickest happened back in 2003 at Saint Francis, as Said Ali scored 59 seconds into the game.

In the Colonials recent home match, the team scored early as well, 150 seconds into the game against Purdue Fort Wayne. RMU cashed in three-times in the first 16 minutes and went on to beat the Mastodons, 3-0.

AWAY BUT HOME
From Denver, N.C.
Chase Gilley and
Logan Gilley return to their home state to play at Wake Forest. In two years at RMU, Chase has produced eight goals and four assists. He was named Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week twice last season and tabbed to the College Soccer News Men's National Team of the Week for a week last year. Logan has registered one goal and three assists in his time at RMU. Forward
John Paul Mbuthia also from North Carolina will play near his hometown of Mooresville, N.C. The junior transfer from UNC Charlotte made an impact for the Colonials since game one of the campaign, earning an assist against VMI. On the year, he's paced for three goals and one assist.
