Milwaukee, Wisc. – The RMU volleyball team concluded its three-game road stint on Saturday evening, falling at Milwaukee, 3-0 at the Klotsche Center in Horizon League play.
With the loss, the Colonials slip to 6-20 this season with a 3-12 mark in league action. Meanwhile, the Panthers continue to sit atop the conference with an 19-8 record behind an 11-2 mark in the Horizon League.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
In the opening set, Milwaukee produced 16 kills and an impressive .414 attacking percentage to take an early 1-0 match advantage. It was a back-and-forth affair in the second stanza as each team totaled 14 kills. The two squads traded the opening eight points before being tied 7-7 early in the frame. Junior

Ally Christman found the floor successfully. Neither the Colonials or Panthers could grab an advantage as they posted ties at 11,14,16, and 18. Milwaukee countered with the biggest run of the set, rattling off six straight scores to hold a 24-18 lead before securing the frame, 25-20.
THREE IS ME
In set three, the two teams continued to trade scores as they exchanged the opening six points before RMU mounted three straight points to hold a 6-3 advantage. Sophomore
Kaitlyn Brown sparked the run with an ace before consecutive attacking errors by Milwaukee continued the stint. The two squads traded the next 10 scores before the Panthers scored seven of the next 11 points to knot it at 15-all. After trading the next four scores, Milwaukee netted six consecutive points to open the set, 23-17. After a Christman successful swing, the Panthers captured the match with a 25-18 win.

Rosina Esposito paced RMU with 11 kills and six digs while finishing with a .286 hitting percentage. Sophomore
