Can You Dig It?
- The RMU volleyball team concludes its home portion of its schedule, when it hosts IUPUI on Thursday, Nov. 2 before celebrating Senior Day on Friday, Nov. 3 against Purdue Fort Wayne at the UPMC Events Center.
- The Colonials wrapped up its three-game road slate last weekend, dropping a pair of matches. RMU fell at Green Bay 3-1 on Friday, Oct. 27 before dropping a 3-0 decision at Milwaukee on Saturday, Oct. 28.
- Against the Phoenix, it was a hot start for RMU as they registered 14 kills and hit at a .342 clip to earn a 25-21 victory in the opening frame. Green Bay jumped out to a 3-1 lead before the Colonials mounted a 9-7 surge to knot the score 10-10.

Rosina Esposito collected a pair of points. RMU would continue to force pressure, rattling off five straight scores to hold a 15-10 advantage.

Allena Carmody posted an ace. The two squads traded the next eight points before the Phoenix scored five of the next seven points to trim the deficit, 21-19. Powers would end the run with a kill before a successful swing by Eric capped the set for the Colonials.
- Adams led the charge with 12 kills and three digs while Esposito fell shy of another double-double. She posted a team-high 14 digs and nine kills, along with two blocks on Friday. Powers and senior
Emma Brown tallied six kills each while Brown collected a pair of blocks.

Ashleigh Wallin registered 17 assists and eight digs while
Katie Cook recorded 13 helpers, seven digs, and tied a season-high with three blocks.
Ally Christman finished with 13 digs and a pair of aces while Carmody totaled 13 digs and a team-high three service aces. Eric finished Friday's match with three blocks, five digs, and four kills.

The All-Time Series (IUPUI) – It'll be the ninth time the Colonials and Jaguars square off against one another in the series as the two squads have split the first eight meetings. IUPUI evened the series earlier this season, collecting a 3-0 win over RMU. Natalie Stepnaovich tied for the team lead with six kills while collecting 10 digs and one ace.
Rosina Esposito also carded six successful swings and eight digs while collecting two service aces and one assist on the night.
Emma Brown totaled five kills and two blocks while
Ashleigh Wallin registered 12 assists and five digs.
Katie Cook ended the night with eight assists and
Allena Carmody tallied 13 digs and two assists against the Jags.
The All-Time Series (Purdue Fort Wayne) – Come Friday night, it'll be the 11
th time RMU and Purdue Fort Wayne will take the court. Earlier this October, the Mastodons defeated the Colonials 3-0 in Fort Wayne, Ind. A pair of Colonials led the team in kills as
Emma Brown and Adams paced the squad with nine kills each. Brown posted a team-best .389 attacking percentage while only committing two errors on 18 attacks. Stepanovich tied for the team lead with 11 digs while registering eight successful swings and one assist.
Ashleigh Wallin controlled the offense, carding 20 assists, four digs, and one ace while
Allena Carmody recorded 11 digs and two assists on Saturday.
Thank You Seniors – The Colonials will celebrate Senior Day against the Mastodons as they will honor four players at the conclusion of the match.

Emma Brown, and
Abby Ryan will be the four Colonials honored. In her first season with RMU, Esposito totaled 193 kills and 2.17 kills per set which both ranks third on the team. She's collected 214.0 points while ranking fifth on the team in digs (121). Esposito has totaled 34.0 blocks and two kill/digs double-doubles.
Carmody continues to be stout on the defensive end for the Colonials, tallying 405 digs this season which ranks sixth in the Horizon League. Her 4.26 digs per set also sits sixth in the conference while she has collected 62 assists and 22 service aces. Carmody has registered double-digit digs in 23 matches this season while recording 1481 digs in her career. She's 19 shy of 1500 for her career as her 4.26 digs per set is a career-best for the graduate student libero.
Brown has posted some career-highs entering the final two matches at home. Her 159 kills and .276 attacking percentage on career-bests as she ranks fourth on the team in kills and sits 10
th in the league in attacking percentage. Brown currently sits second on squad in blocks (54.0) while recording 194.0 blocks in her career. She has carded four games with double-digit kills while posting 11 games with three or more blocks this season.
Unfortunately, due to injury, Ryan had her season cut short. In the eight matches she played, Ryan totaled 122 kills while posting 4.07 kills per set. She carded 130.5 points and registered 4.35 points per set for RMU. Ryan tallied 77 digs while posting three kill/digs double-doubles. The outside hitter registered double-figure kills in all eight matches this season while totaling 779 kills for her career.
