Moon Township, Pa. – RMU women's basketball will come back home to the UPMC Events Center as they'll host Penn State Beaver in non-conference action on Tuesday evening. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+.

RMU LATELY
The Colonials (1-3) are coming off an 83-63 loss on the road against George Mason on Saturday afternoon. Simone Morris leads RMU with 11.5 points per game. Naomi Barnwell is RMU's leading rebounder as she averages 6.3 boards per game.
 
PENN STATE BEAVER LATELY
The Nittany Lions (2-5) are coming off an 89-78 victory vs PSU Lehigh Valley on Nov. 15. PSB opened the season with five straight losses before picking up their first win against Penn State Brandywine on November 17^th. This is the last non-conference game for Penn State Beaver as they'll only play games in the PSUAC for the rest of the season.

RMU AND PENN STATE BEAVER HISTORY
This will be the first matchup between the Colonials and Nittany Lions in series history. RMU has three other such games on the schedule as they have also never faced Texas A&M, Charleston, and Fairmont State.

Single Game High's vs Akron (11/15) - RMU came close but fell in overtime to Akron, but it didn't go without some good individual performances. Barnwell led the team with 14 points and nine boards while Allana had 11 points and four rebounds.
 
Single Game High's vs George Mason (11/18) - The Colonials fell short against the Patriots as Alejandra Mastral led RMU with 12 points and two assists. Louella Allana had nine points and a team-high five rebounds in the loss. Natalie Johnson had her most productive game of the season to date as she had 11 points and a team-high three steals.
 
International Journey - The RMU Women's Basketball team features eight international players: Tuana Coskun (Istanbul, Turkiye) Louella Allana (Laval, Quebec), Eden Monka (Montreal, Quebec), Camila Bozan (Santiago, Chile), Rebecca Dwomoh (London, England), Paris Kirk (Kelowna, B.C.), Naomi Barnwell (Chanteloup-Les-Vignes, France) and Alejandra Mastral (Zaragoza, Spain).
 
UP NEXT
The Colonials will begin a two-game road trip on Friday when they travel to Lewisburg, Pa and face off against Bucknell at 2:00 p.m. The contest can be seen live on ESPN+.
 
RMU BASKETBALL SEASON TICKETS
Season tickets for RMU basketball for the 2023-24 season can be purchased by calling the RMU Ticket Office at (412) 397-4949. In addition to a full slate of Horizon League games, the Colonials will also host an MTE Tournament at the UPMC Events Center as part of their 2023-24 non-conference home schedule.
