College Station, Tx. – The Colonials traveled south to College Station, Texas and fell to Texas A&M, 67-36. With the loss, the RMU women's basketball team dropped to 3-6 overall while the Aggies improved to 9-1 on the season.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
The Colonials started the contest on fire from the field as in the first six minutes they shot 50% from the field and led the hosting Aggies 10-6.
Rebecca Dwomoh had five of her seven points in those first few minutes, paired with a three-pointer from
Louella Allana that had Texas A&M reeling early on.
The Aggies defense turned the tables in the second quarter as they held RMU to seven points in the second and they shot 25% from the field. The Colonials combined scored 13 points in the second and third quarters which helped the Aggies go on multiple extensive runs that helped separate the score.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
Dwomoh paced the Colonials with seven points as that was also a season-high along with a team-high four rebounds.
Simone Morris and
Natalie Johnson added seven points while Johnson added three boards and Morris dished out two assists. After coming into the contest as the Horizon League leader in blocked shots the Colonials were only able to collect one blocked shot against the Aggies.

The Colonials will have a week off before they return home to the UPMC Events Center to host the College of Charleston. Tipoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. and can be seen live on ESPN+.
