MOMENTS THAT MATTERED

Bucknell stretched its lead 20 seconds into the second quarter before scoring four straight goals to hold an 11-1 lead. Senior Jerica Obee looked to cut into the Bison lead as her shot was saved by goalkeeper Symone Ryans.

It was a slow start in the second half for both squads as neither team recorded a shot in the opening four minutes. Less than two minutes later, the sophomore midfielder netted the hat trick after securing a pass from graduate student Bailey Christianson. After a yellow card was issued to Bucknell, sophomore Maggie Boyle converted the man-up advantage, trimming the deficit, 11-4. Senior Julia Koterwas was credited with the assist. At the 3:55 mark, Coleman continued her hot streak as she found the back of the net for the third time in the quarter, assisted by Koterwas. The Bison would score three consecutive times to take a 14-5 advantage.
