Moon Township, Pa. – Under the leadership of head coach
Charlie Buscaglia, who's in his sixth season, the Robert Morris women's basketball team added a trio of newcomers that will hit the court for the Colonials during the 2023-24 campaign.
Donning the blue and white this upcoming season will be
Tuana Coskun,
Micah O'Dell, and
Madison O'Dell.

"All three of these signees have demonstrated to be great fits to our program on and off the court," Buscaglia said. "We are very excited to get them out to RMU and start creating amazing memories together."
TUANA COSKUN | Rabun Gap, Georgia
Coskun, a native of
Rabun Gap, Georgia, played two seasons at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in Rabun County. She helped the Eagles finish 25-7 overall while ranking No. 12 in Atlanta her senior season. In 61 games, Coskun averaged 12.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 steal per game. She led the team with 13.7 points per contest while carding 3.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and just under a steal per game her senior year. Coskun scored 14 or more points in 16 games while posting five 20-point performances for the Eagles.
The 6'0 small forward is no stranger to accruing awards and honors as she led the Eagles to back-to-back NCISSA state titles while receiving All-State honors in consecutive seasons. Coskun was tabbed to the Carolinas Athletic Association All-Conference team in two straight campaigns while being the North GA All-Star Classic three-point champion.

"Tuana really impressed me with her ability to read the game so well on both ends of the court," Buscaglia continued. "She has great vision and a nice touch from the perimeter. As a forward, I love to see the ability to stretch the defense and make great decisions while on the perimeter. She shows qualities of being a great teammate, with a strong love for the game."
"The first thing that got my attention was how the coaches were really interested in me, the way they encouraged me and showed me that I have great potential to become an RMU athlete," Coskun said. "After my first call I realized that I found the right school for me to improve my skills. The community, coaches, team, and the area, everything showed me how happy I would be at RMU. The presence of international students both on the team and at the school gave me more confidence and showed that I could adapt there. The RMU women's basketball team was just what I was looking for, with their energy, goals, and playing style was something I could feel comfortable with."
MICAH O'DELL | Biloxi, Mississippi
A native of Biloxi, Mississippi, O'Dell helped lead Gulfport to a 23-10 overall record, with a 6-2 mark in region play. The Admirals advanced to the quarterfinals of the Mississippi (MHSAA) 6A Girls Basketball Championship her senior season. She averaged 13.0 points and eight rebounds while being awarded

Most Valuable Player of the Year. O'Dell was invited to play in the North/South Mississippi All-Star game for two consecutive seasons while also being an honor roll student throughout her high school career.
QUOTABLE
"Micah is a long guard that impressed us right away with her ability to be a natural leader on the court" Buscaglia Said. "She has a great ability to be physical and grab tough rebounds. Micah has a nice mid-range game on the offensive end, and a tremendous work ethic on defense to go along with her athleticism. Her potential is very high."
"My biggest thing in life is growth and peace. I want to be somewhere where I'll be able to grow not only physically but mentally, and spiritually," O'Dell said. "RMU felt like home. The coaching staff was really welcoming and it felt like me and Maddie found somewhere that we could fit and feel comfortable. I also was thankful that they were willing to take me and Maddie in, so that we could play together again. The campus was beautiful, the academics are top notch, it felt like the right place to be."
MADISON O'DELL | Biloxi, Mississippi
In leading her team to a 23-10 overall record, with a 6-2 mark in region play, O'Dell paced Gulfport with 19.0 points a game while collecting two boards and two assists per contest. She led the Admirals to the quarterfinals of the Mississippi (MHSAA) 6A Girls Basketball Championship while also earning Offensive Player of the Year. The shifty point guard was selected to play in the North/South All-Star game while also being invited to the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star game in the same season.
QUOTABLE
"Madison really caught our eye with how she is able to create shots for herself and her teammates," Buscaglia continued. "She is very shifty with the ball, and slippery in the gaps. We look for her to be tough on the opposition for both ends of the court with her quickness. She is a fierce competitor and has a lot of fire to bring to our program."
"Sitting down with their family and discussing values on their visit, truly showed that connection of being great fits for our family here at RMU. Them being sisters and spending their college career at RMU is a blessing. We truly enjoyed watching Madison and Micah help their team at Gulfport High School make a great run for the championship in their senior year," Buscaglia said.
