Moon Township, Pa. – The Horizon League announced its 2023-24
men's basketball league schedule Tuesday, which includes a 20-game round robin slate.
RMU will open its 2023-24 #HLMBB schedule Wednesday, Nov. 29, at defending Horizon League Tournament champion Northern Kentucky. The Colonials follow their Horizon League opener by returning to the UPMC Events Center Saturday, Dec. 2, to host Youngstown State in the first of 10 league home contests.
Horizon League play resumes Friday, Dec. 29, when the Colonials open a two-game Midwest road swing in Wisconsin. RMU will take on Milwaukee to open the swing before traveling to Green Bay Sunday, Dec. 31.
The 2024 calendar year opens with the Colonials hosting a four-game homestand at the UPMC Events Center. RMU opens the homestand Thursday, Jan. 4, against IUPUI and will also welcome Wright State (Jan. 10), Purdue Fort Wayne (Jan. 12) and Detroit Mercy (Jan. 17).
Also on the home slate for the Colonials in Horizon League action is Green Bay (Feb. 8) and Milwaukee (Feb. 10) as well as a three-game homestand in late February against Oakland (Feb. 22), Cleveland State (Feb. 25) and Northern Kentucky (Feb. 28).
