The All-Time Series (Indiana State) – For Thursday's game, this will be the first time ever the Colonials play Indiana State. Each program will look to become 1-0 all-time against each other.

Scouting the Sycamores – Last year the Sycamores finished 2-11-3 overall and 2-6-2 in conference. In 2022, sophomore Ella Gorrie in her first season was the team's leading scorer, producing two goals and two assists. She factored in on 50% of the squad's goals. Goalkeeper Maddie Alexander heads into her senior year with the Sycamores. As a junior last year, she made 34 saves throughout the season and picked up two wins. So far, through four games in 2023, the Sycamores have yet to win but have yet to lose as well. For all four games at the final whistle, the game has ended in a tie. Their season began tying Louisville to a scoreless draw, and then doing the same against Miami (OH). Indiana State then tied Marshall and Eastern Illinois, 1-1. Maddie Helling and Chloe Tesny have both scored one each.

UNDEFEATED START
After the Colonials beat Saint Francis this past week, the program officially for the first time began their season with four consecutive wins. Adding more victories on top of the win streak will increase the record for RMU. Chris Shaw and his team achieved a new record as well, as the team didn't allow a goal for over the first 357 minutes.

PLAYER'S OF THE WEEK
Through the first two weeks of the season, two Colonials have been awarded with the honor of Player of the Week by the Horizon League. In Week 1, Brenna Murray took home the award for Defensive Player of the Week. She's won the first four games, playing all 360 minutes between the posts. The graduate has only allowed one goal in all season, which came off a penalty kick late in the Saint Francis game. In Week 2, Lidia Nduka was tabbed Offensive Player of the Week. She scored three more goals in two games against Akron and Saint Francis. This brought her season totals to five goals in four games, which leads all Horizon League women's soccer player's in that category.
