MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU will start the second half of their season, welcoming Lindenwood to Clearview Arena this weekend. The first game of the series is scheduled for Friday, January 12 at 7:00 p.m. The series finale will be played the following day at 3:00 p.m. Both games will stream on FloHockey, featuring Gero von Dehn (pxp) and Bob Kennedy (analyst) on the broadcast.
RMU LATELY
RMU (7-13-0 / 4-4-0 #CHA) is back to action after a two-week break. Before the new year, the Colonials competed in the 'Battle at the Burgh' tournament hosted by the Pittsburgh Penguins at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex. Featuring in the tournament along with RMU was #4 Colgate, Maine and Bemidji. In their two games, the Colonials fell to Bemidji, 3-1 and Maine, 6-2. Graduate defenseman Chloé Puddifant was named to the All-Tournament team. She dished out two assists on the power-play.
EVANS EARNS ANOTHER AWARD
For posting one goal and one assist at the 'Battle at the Burgh', freshman forward
Janelle Evans was tabbed Rookie of the Week by the CHA conference. From Bethune, Saskatchewan, Evans was awarded her second weekly honor of the campaign. She's currently tied second on the team in points (13) and tied first in assists (9).

ALL-TIME VS. LINDENWOOD
RMU is 34-7-1 all-time when facing Lindenwood. The Colonials are currently on a 16-game win streak against the opposing program, dating back to 2017. The first game between these two programs occurred back in 2011. RMU won 8-0 and went on to win the first four games against the Lions. Across 42 games, the Colonials are averaging 3.64 goals-per-game against the Lions and have scored 153 total goals. RMU's defense has shined as well when playing the Lions posting 11 shutouts. Those 11 shutouts are the most against any team they've faced since the Colonials program began.
SCOUTING LINDENWOOD
The Lions are currently 7-12-1 overall this season and are 2-5-1 in the CHA. Their conference wins came against RIT and Syracuse. Offensively, averaging over a point-per-game, junior forward Morgan Neitzke owns 19 goals, 11 assists and 30 points in 20 games.

Both programs have each faced CHA conference members such as RIT, Penn State, Syracuse and Mercyhurst. The Colonials and Lions have yet to play each other. After this weekend, both clubs will have finally played each conference member this season. RMU and Lindenwood each faced Bemidji State as well.
