RMU LATELY
RMU (5-12, 1-5 HL) ran into a hot shooting Wright State team, falling 101-76 Wednesday evening. Prior to the WSU contest, the Colonials had their largest Horizon League victory, a 44-point win over IUPUI January 4. RMU is 4-5 at the UPMC Events Center this season.
 
PURDUE FOR WAYNE LATELY
After opening conference play with four straight wins, Purdue Fort Wayne (13-4, 4-2 HL) dropped its last two contests – 106-98 against Wright State and 93-85 at Youngstown State. The Mastodons are 3-3 in away games this season.
 
RMU AND PURDUE FOR WAYNE HISTORY
In the six contests between the two teams, each has won three.  In the inaugural meeting, RMU poured in 102 points, marking the most scored during the Andrew Toole era. It was also the most the Colonials scored in a conference opener in program history.

RMU Hall of Famer Tony Lee will join the RMU Ring of Honor prior to Friday's contest. Lee is the third member of the men's basketball program to be inducted into the RMU Ring of Honor joining Chipper Harris (2014) and Myron Walker (2017). Sugeiry Monsac was the first women's player to join the elite group also in 2017.
