MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU volleyball team is ready for their second straight road trip when they travel to face IU Indy this weekend. The first match is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m. and can be seen streaming live on ESPN+.

RMU LATELY
RMU is coming off back to back losses against Oakland last weekend in Horizon League play. The Colonials got swept on Friday night but fought back and pushed the match on Saturday to five sets and nearly won. Jaaliyah Evans and Natalie Stepanovich led the Colonials with 24 kills over the two-match span while Jaidan Hockman had a team-leading 46 digs.
 
SCOUTING IU INDY
The Jaguars go into Friday's match with a 6-12 overall record and an 0-5 mark in conference play. IU Indy has lost against Wright State, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Milwaukee to start conference play and overall, they haven't won a match since September 22nd against Evansville. Sophomore outside hitter Elle Patterson leads the Jaguars with 200 kills in 70 sets played this season.

ALL-TIME VS JAGUARS
This will be the 12th meeting between these two schools and the ninth match since RMU joined the Horizon League in 2020. The Colonials have a 5-6 record against the Jaguars with their last win coming on the road in 2022 which ended in five sets.

UP NEXT
RMU will come back to the UPMC Events Center when they prepare for a four-match homestand starting with Northern Kentucky next weekend. The first match is scheduled for Thursday, October 24 at 6pm.
