MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU volleyball makes their way back home after a two-week road trip to host Northern Kentucky at the UPMC Events Center. The first match is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m. and can be seen streaming live on ESPN+.

RMU LATELY
The Colonials dropped the last two matches of their road trip against IU Indy this past weekend. RMU took the Jaguars to five sets on Friday night as Natalie Stepanovich led all players with 19 kills. RMU continued to be a force on the net as they had 11 blocks compared to IU Indy who had seven but it wasn't enough to close out the match. On Saturday, RMU fell in straight sets as the Colonials struggled on the offensive side with 21 kills in three sets. Azra Eric continues to lead the Horizon League in blocks as she's accumulated 84 blocks in 70 sets played while averaging 1.20 blocks per set.
 
SCOUTING NORTHERN KENTUCKY
The Norse come into the weekend with a 8-10 overall record and a 4-3 mark in conference play. Northern Kentucky has found success in Horizon League play as they've won three out of the last four matches coming against Youngstown State and Milwaukee. NKU is led by senior outside hitter Joy Banks who leads the team with 226 kills and averages 3.71 kills per set.

ALL-TIME VS NORSE
This will be the ninth meeting all-time between the Colonials and the Norse with RMU tallying one win during the 2021 season. In the last contest, RMU lost in four sets as Natalie Stepanovich led the Colonials with 11 kills and 18 digs.

UP NEXT
RMU will come back to the UPMC Events Center when they host Cleveland State in conference play next week. The first match is scheduled for Thursday, October 24 at 6pm with the concluding match on Friday, October 25 at 5 p.m.
