GREEN BAY, Wis. – The RMU women's soccer team battled to a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Green Bay, bringing their season record to 4-5-6 overall and 3-2-3 in conference play.
 
FIRST HALF HIGHLIGHTS

• Taylor Day opened the scoring for RMU just four minutes into the match, converting on the team's first shot. Paloma Swankler provided the assist on the play.
• The Colonials managed three additional shots throughout the remainder of the first half.

 
SECOND HALF HIGHLIGHTS

• Green Bay increased their offensive pressure in the second half, registering eight shots within the first 30 minutes.
• In the 78th minute, Green Bay found the equalizer to tie the game.
• RMU had opportunities with two more shots on goal late in the game but couldn't find the decisive goal as the match ended in a draw.

 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Green Bay outshot RMU 13-8 and had nine shots on target compared to RMU's seven.
• Both teams earned three corner kicks and committed eight fouls each.
• Emerson Johngarlo, Jillian Marvin, Shauna Gamble, Julia Becerra, Haleigh Finale, Ava Trethewey, and Paloma Swankler played the full 90 minutes.
• Goalkeeper Brenna Murray made eight saves in the match.
• Taylor Day scored her second goal of the season, leading RMU with three shots on target.

 
SWANKLER'S CONTRIBUTIONS
Captain Paloma Swankler recorded her third assist of the season, accumulating 13 points (5g, 3a) so far this season. She ranks among the top five in the Horizon League in points.
