GREEN BAY, Wis. – The RMU women's soccer team battled to a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Green Bay, bringing their season record to 4-5-6 overall and 3-2-3 in conference play.
FIRST HALF HIGHLIGHTS
- Taylor Day opened the scoring for RMU just four minutes into the match, converting on the team's first shot. Paloma Swankler provided the assist on the play.
- The Colonials managed three additional shots throughout the remainder of the first half.
SECOND HALF HIGHLIGHTS
- Green Bay increased their offensive pressure in the second half, registering eight shots within the first 30 minutes.
- In the 78th minute, Green Bay found the equalizer to tie the game.
- RMU had opportunities with two more shots on goal late in the game but couldn't find the decisive goal as the match ended in a draw.
