MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU (4-3, 2-0 NEC) will remain in NEC play on Saturday when it hosts Saint Francis U (2-5, 0-3 NEC). Kickoff from Joe Walton Stadium is set for 2 p.m.
THE SERIES
Saturday marks the 28th time the Colonials and Red Flash have met. The series goes back to Robert Morris College's first year as a program in 1994. The teams battled for 26 straight seasons with the series going on hiatus after the 2019 game. The only tie in the 317 game history of RMU football was against Saint Francis in their first meeting at the Pine Bowl, 14-14 on October 29, 1994. In all, the Colonials lead the series 17-9-1. In Moon, RMU leads 9-4. At Joe Walton Stadium it's tied 4-4.
LAST TIME OUT
In front of a sold out crowd of 3,412 RMU defeated SFU 31-21 at Joe Walton Stadium.
Anthony Chiccitt was 22-for-28 for 290 yards and three touchdowns, connecting with 11 different receivers.
Noah Robinson caught nine balls for 147 yards and a touchdown.
