MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's soccer team is set to conclude their three-game homestand by facing Northern Kentucky on Saturday, October 5 at 1:00 PM. The match will be broadcast live on ESPN+, with Spencer Witt providing play-by-play commentary.
RMU LATELY
RMU (3-4-4, 2-1-1 #HLWSOC) enjoyed a strong week in Horizon League play, going 1-0-1. They earned a 2-0 win against Purdue Fort Wayne and a 1-1 draw against IU Indy.
Ava Trethewey opened the scoring against PFW in the 55th minute, assisted by
Paloma Swankler and
Jillian Marvin. Thirteen minutes later,
Haleigh Finale sealed the win with a goal from the penalty spot. Against IU Indy, RMU came from behind after conceding early, with
Paloma Swankler scoring a header from a Trethewey corner in the second half to secure a tie.

Brenna Murray has been crucial to RMU's defense, starting all 11 games this season. Murray ranks first in the Horizon League in goals-against average (1.29) and save percentage (.781). She has recorded 50 saves and three clean sheets this year.
