MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU (8-5, 0-2 HL) resumes Horizon League play when it hosts Northern Kentucky (7-6, 2-0 NEC) on Sunday afternoon. Tipoff at the UPMC Events Center is at 2 p.m.
 
RMU LATELY
RMU finished its non-conference season with a pair of wins over Towson (68-67) and Saint Francis (90-77). In those two contests, Alvaro Folgueiras averaged a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds. He recorded career-highs 27 points, 16 rebounds, nine FGs and eight FTs and tied career-highs with four steals and three blocks against
the Red Flash.
 
NORTHERN KENTUCKY LATELY
NKU has won five straight dating back to December 7. The Norse's lead scorer Trey Robinson (15.2 ppg) leads the Horizon League in 3-point field goal percentage at 55.9%.
 
RMU AND NORTHERN KENTUCKY HISTORY
RMU and NKU first met when the Colonials joined the Horizon League in the 2020-21 season. They have played eight times, with the Norse winning seven.

Marques Warrick scored a game-high 28 points to lead Northern Kentucky to a 70-60 victory over RMU on February 28, 2024 at the UPMC Events Center.

Amarion Dickerson is currently fifth in the nation in blocks with 34 and ninth with 2.6 blocks per game. Folgueiras is seventh in the NCAA with 10.8 rebounds per game and fifth with 141 total rebounds.

UP NEXT
RMU hits the road for a pair of games in Michigan when they travel to Detroit Mercy on January 2 and Oakland on January 4. They return to the UPMC Events Center to host Cleveland State on January 8 and Wright State on January 12.
