MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU (6-4, 0-1 HL) opens the portion of its schedule on Saturday afternoon when it faces Purdue Fort Wayne (5-4, 0-1 HL) on Sunday afternoon at the Gates Athletic Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
 
RMU LATELY
RMU fell to Youngstown State 72-58 on Thursday evening. The Colonials have dropped two straight decisions after winning six in a row.
 
PFW LATELY
Purdue Fort Wayne dropped a 79-78 decision to Detroit Mercy after the Titans' Legend Geeter hit a 3-pointer with five seconds remaining.
 
RMU AND PFW HISTORY
In the nine contests between the two teams, Purdue Fort Wayne holds a 5-4 advantage. In the inaugural meeting, The Colonials poured in 102 points, marking the most scored during the Andrew Toole era (later tied vs. Detroit Mercy on 1/17/24). It was also the most the Colonials
scored in a conference opener in program history.

RMU's season came to an end after falling 78-63 to Purdue Fort Wayne in the First Round of the Barbasol Horizon League Men's Basketball Championship on March 5, 2024 at the Gates Sports Center.

UP NEXT
RMU returns home to the UPMC Events Center for a three-game homestand beginning on Tuesday,  December 17 against Towson followed by the nonconference finale against Saint Francis U on Saturday, December 21. The Colonials return to Horizon League play on Sunday December 29 against Northern Kentucky.
