MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU plays its final game at the UPMC Events Center on Wednesday night when the Colonials host Northern Kentucky. The game will stream on ESPN+ and fans can hear the hometown call from Chris Shovlin and Jim Elias on the RMU Gameday App.
 
RMU LATELY
RMU (10-19, 6-12 HL) fell to Cleveland State 73-71 at the buzzer on February 25. The Colonials are 7-8 at home this season and have locked in ninth place in the Horizon League standings.
 
NORTHERN KENTUCKY LATELY
Northern Kentucky (16-13, 11-7 HL) has won its last two and five of its last six including an 80-64 victory over IUPUI on February 25, The Norse are 4-10 on the road this season and are in fifth in the Horizon League standings.
 
RMU AND NORTHERN KENTUCKY HISTORY
RMU and Northern Kentucky first met when the Colonials joined the Horizon League in the 2020-21 season. Since then they have played seven times, with the Norse winning six.
 
RMU AND NORTHERN KENTUCKY LAST TIME OUT
Northern Kentucky used a 48 point 2nd half in its 77-59 victory on November 29, 2023. Markeese Hastings had a team-high 14 points and Justice Williams added 11 points for RMU. Stephaun Walker led all players with nine rebounds. Marques Warrick poured in a game-high 25 points for the Norse. Sam Vinson scored 15 and Cade Meyer 10 for NKU.
 
UP NEXT
RMU's last regular season contest is on Saturday, March 2 at Purdue Fort Wayne. The Colonials will be on the road for the first round of the 2024 Barbasol Horizon League Basketball Championship which begins Tuesday, March 5 at an opponent to be determined.
