MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU softball continues their 2024 campaign at Northern Kentucky University for a three-game series. On Saturday, April 13, the Colonials will play a double-header against the Norse, beginning at 1:00 PM. The series finale will be played on Sunday, with first pitch at 12:00 PM. All three games will be streamed on ESPN+.
RMU LATELY
RMU (10-18, 5-7 #HLSB) returns to action this weekend after falling to Youngstown State in three straight games. Each contest was low scoring, as the Colonials lost 1-0, 2-0 and 4-1. In game one of the series, freshman
Kaitlyn Molitoris pitched five innings and recorded five strikeouts. Across game two, senior
Jane Garver went for 5.2 innings in the circle, registering five strikeouts. At Wednesday's series finale,
Avery Winchell produced an RBI and
Faith Miller earned her 30

Stringing together results as of late, the Norse have won eight of their last nine #HLSB contests, outscoring the opposition 49-17 across that span. Individually, senior outfielder Ella LeMonier has been a staple for NKU, possessing the conference's third best batting average (.402) and on base percentage (.455). Also, among conference leaders, junior outfielder Olivia Pastin's .628 slugging percentage ranks first in the Horizon League and her five home runs are the second highest.
