MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU Softball will battle the University of Pittsburgh on Tuesday, April 30 with first pitch scheduled for 6:00 PM. Tuesday night's game will be streamed on the ACC Network.
RMU LATELY
RMU (18-21, 13-10 #HLSB) recently completed their final week of conference play for the regular season. The Colonials officially clinched a spot in the 2024 Horizon League Playoff Tournament and are currently placed fifth in the conference. Playing a two-game series at Detroit Mercy and then a three-game set at Oakland, the Colonials won four of those five contests. Across the five games,
Courtney Poulich and
Avery Winchell each blasted two home runs. In the circle, junior
Madison DeVault was a staple for the team's consistency as she earned three wins. Over 12.1 innings of work, she paced for 20 strikeouts and only allowed three runs. Over RMU's last 11 games, they're 11-3. DeVault on the pitching staff currently owns the most wins (5), saves (5) and strikeouts (70).
Milestone wise, senior
Julia Ehrman appeared in her 150
th career game. Also, junior
Anna Resnik eclipsed 100 career hits. And, offensively,
