MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU softball returns home to host YSU for a three-game series. On Tuesday, April 9, the Colonials and Penguins will play a double-header, beginning at 1:00 PM. The following day, the teams will wrap up the series to play one game with first pitch at 3:00 PM. All three games will be streamed on ESPN+.
RMU LATELY
RMU (10-15, 5-4 #HLSB) recently played a conference series on the road at Purdue Fort Wayne. The Colonials won the first game of the series, 3-2 but then lost the next two matches, 5-2 and 3-2. Freshman
Kaylyn Hopf was a key player in RMU's success on offense, posting six hits, one run and two runs batted in over the weekend. Junior pitcher
Jaimee Hardy also picked up the win in the first contest of the series. She improved her pitching record to 4-0.
