QUOTABLE
"We're really proud of the team. Having eight days between games, especially at this time of year can be very challenging. But, we were intentional with our preparation and mindset, leading us to come out firing," said head coach
Jexx Varner. "Garver was phenomenal and our defense was fantastic. Our offense hit hard all game. Poulich destroyed those two home runs and really made a statement that we're playing with a ton of confidence. Up and down this lineup, in every facet, we are ready to win each pitch, inning and game in this tournament."
