MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU men's soccer team hits the road for the first time this season, facing Mount St. Mary's on Sunday, August 25, at 4:00 PM. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
RECENT PERFORMANCE
RMU (0-1-0, 0-0-0 #HLMSOC) opened their season with a 2-0 loss to Bucknell on Thursday. The Bison secured their victory with two first-half goals. The Colonials registered 13 shots, with seven on target, and held the edge in corner kicks 5-2. Junior

HEAD-TO-HEAD HISTORY
RMU and Mount St. Mary's have a long-standing rivalry, having faced each other 26 times since 1991. RMU dominated the early years of the series, going unbeaten in the first eight meetings with a 7-0-1 record. From 2001 to 2007, the Colonials continued their success with another eight-game unbeaten streak (5-0-3) against The Mount. Their last encounter was in 2019, where RMU won 1-0 at the North Athletic Complex. All-time, RMU owns a 14-7-5 record.
SCOUTING THE MOUNT
Mount St. Mary's (0-1-0, 0-0-0 #MAAC) started their season with a narrow 1-0 loss to Binghamton. The Mount managed six shots, with two on target. Last season, they finished with a 2-10-3 overall record and a 2-6-2 mark in MAAC play, with their two wins coming against Fairfield and Canisius.

Mount St. Mary's will also face RMU's season opening opponent Bucknell. Additionally, both teams are scheduled to play Duquesne, with RMU set to face them on Tuesday, September 17.
