RMU Football Opens NEC Play at Wagner

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU (1-2, 0-0 NEC) will have its first Northeast Conference game since 2019 when it travels to Wagner (2-1, 0-0 NEC) on Saturday, September 21 at Hameline Field in Staten Island, N.Y.
 
THE SERIES
Saturday marks the first time the two teams have played since 2019. RMU leads the series 15-11 and 8-6 at Hameline Field. The first two games played in 1994 and 1995 predated the formation of football in the NEC. Twelve of the 26 games have been decided by one possession including the last outing in which RMU won 21-13.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Garret Fairman's sack just inside the red zone followed by Jacob's White pass break up as time expired sealed the game for RMU in its 21-13 victory over Wagner on October 19, 2019 at Hameline Field.
