MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – After a bye week, Robert Morris (2-3) closes out its nonconference season at Merrimack (2-3) on tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m.
 
MERRIMACK LATELY             
Merrimack fell at Stony Brook 35-10 on September 27. Kendal Sims led the Warriors with 10 tackles and 1.5 sacks. MC is 2-0 at home this season with wins over Saint Anselm and Central Connecticut State.
 
THE SERIES                 
This is the second time the teams have played each other, the first coming last season.
 
LAST TIME OUT                      
Anthony Chiccitt's 82-yard touchdown to Shawn Charles was the only score of the game as RMU extended its winning streak to four games after its 6-0 shutout over Merrimack on Nov. 2, 2024

RMU is 10-13 against teams currently playing as independents.

Merrimack is just one of only two FCS independents. The other is Sacred Heart. Both were members of the NEC, Merrimack from 2019-23 and Sacred Heart from 1999-2023.
