MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU Volleyball team remains at the UPMC Events Center this weekend to host IU Indy. Serve times are 6 p.m. on Friday and 5 p.m. on Saturday. This is also RMU's Alumni Recognition/Pink Out Weekend.
RMU LATELY
The Colonials (6-10, 2-3 HL) are looking to get back in the win column after falling to Oakland in a pair of matches last weekend. Jocelyn Jordan, last week's Horizon League Player of the Week, is fifth in the league with 3.59 kills per set.
Keira Hornung ranks first in the HL with 1.28 blocks per set and
Jasmine Purakal is third in the league with 4.47 digs per set.
IU INDY LATELY
The Jaguars (9-8, 3-2 HL) swept Milwaukee last weekend and are on a three-match winning streak. Morgan Ostrowski leads all HL players with a .385 hitting percentage. Jillian Tippmann is third in the league with 3.85 kills per set. Grace Purichia is first in assists with 10.68 per set. As a team, IUI leads the HL with a .235 hitting percentage.
THE SERIES
The Colonials and Jaguars began the series in 1998, with IUI holding an 8-5 advantage, 6-4 in HL play. RMU is 3-2 at home against IU Indy.
PINK OUT WEEKEND
Free pink shirts will be given out at Friday's game courtesy of UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital.

Former Colonials will be recognized after Saturday's match.
UP NEXT
The team spends the next two weekends away from home beginning at Northern Kentucky on Oct. 17-18 and at Cleveland State Oct. 24-25. RMU returns to the UPMC Events Center on Tuesday, Oct. 28 against Youngstown State.
