MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. –
Ryan Prather Jr. scored a career-high 25 points and Robert Morris led wire-to-wire while connecting on 15 3-pointers in its 88-74 victory over UIC (4-3) on Wednesday afternoon.
1st HALF
RMU (4-3) opened the game with back-to-back baskets from Prather and
Nikolaos Chitikoudis, which helped build a quick 18-8 lead at the 13:32 mark on
Kaleb Brown's layup. Livingston's 3-pointer—which was the Colonials' tenth of the half—gave them their largest lead of the half (21 points), sending them into halftime ahead 50-29.
2nd HALF
RMU increased its lead to 24 points on Prather's 3-pointer that made the score 53-29 at the 18:39 mark. The Colonials were able to maintain a double-digit lead the rest of the way, with the closest the Flames would come being 12 points at the 13:09 mark.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- DeSean Goode recorded a season-high 17 points
- Albert Vargas had season-highs with 13 points and eight assists
- Darius Livingston scored 10 points and pulled down a career-high six rebounds
- This was RMU's first-ever win over UIC; the Flames had won the previous five matchups
- RMU had 25 assists on 30 field goals

The Colonials remain in Moon Township for the Urban-Bennett Invitational. They will host Southern Utah on Friday, November 28 and Stetson on Sunday, November 30. Southern Utah and Stetson play the neutral-site game on Saturday, November 29.
